Alex Caruso drops F-bombs after not getting the call at the end of the Spurs loss

On Saturday night, The Oklahoma City Thunder are down down to Earth with a narrow loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the semifinals of the NBA Cup tournament from Las Vegas. The Thunder played well in this game, but in the end they were unable to provide answers for Victor Vembanyama and some of Spurs’ young talent at fullback.
The Thunder complained at the end of the game when the guard Alec Caruso he ran in for an offensive rebound after a missed free throw and felt pushed by Spurs forward Devin Vassell.
After the game, Caruso could be heard shouts of curses as he walked to the locker room.

Caruso and the Thunder as a whole have developed a reputation as a team that can get away with flagrant fouls on one end of the floor while usually getting a nice whistle on the other, so many fans found it somewhat ironic that he complained after the game.
“Alec Caruso crying over the most blatant elbow foul ever, you can tell the OKC team isn’t used to being judged fairly,” wrote one fan on X, formerly Twitter.
“I’m not trying to hear about some”Caruso was fouled’ if Wemby got the whistles he should have gotten all night we would have won by double digits,” wrote another.
Overall, the Thunder didn’t shoot well from the field in this game, but it should be noted that the Spurs also missed a lot of shots from the perimeter in this game, especially in the first half, and the best player on the floor certainly seemed to be Vembanjama, who had a big impact despite the limited minutes.
Either way, the Spurs and Thunder will square off on two more occasions in the coming weeks, including on Christmas Day in Oklahoma City.
