Given its question markthere is currently some doubt as to whether Anthony Edwards will be able to compete against the Kings on Sunday night. Edwards missed the last game the Timberwolves played, Friday against the Golden State Warriors, but the team was still able to use its depth and size to pull off an impressive road win in that one.

Joining Edwards on the injury report for the showdown against the Kings are Mike Conley, who will miss another game with right Achilles tendonitis, and Bones Hyland, who is questionable with a right knee contusion.

Meanwhile, for the Kings, Keon Ellis is questionable with wrist soreness, while Dennis Schroder is questionable with a right hip flexor strain. Domantas Sabonis will remain out of the lineup due to a partial tear of the meniscus in his left knee.

Overall, with Edwards out of the lineup, the head of the snake Friday night was Julius Randle, who punished Golden State’s lackluster defense and will look to do so again Sunday if the superstar is sidelined. The Timberwolves also got strong games from Naz Reed and Jaden McDaniels, as well as some hitting from Donte DiVincenzo down the stretch.

Either way, the Timberwolves and Kings are scheduled to kick off Sunday at 7:00 PM ET from Minnesota.
