Fan combines Jackson Dart, Grinch in 1 epic look
With Christmas right around the corner, NFL fans are combining the holidays with their favorite teams. One New York Giants fan took that trend to an extreme in Week 15 as he combined Jackson Dart and the Grinch in one costume.
The fan was not wearing a darts jersey, but made his costume known. He got Dart’s signature eye color on his Grinch mask to complete the outfit.
The combined fan costume included a Santa hat and a Giants hoodie.
Darth certainly played with the spirit of the Grinch in him in what was another physical game for him. Novak was visibly frustrated on the sideline multiple times as the Giants suffered their eighth straight loss.
Dart took just one sack, but absorbed multiple big hits on scrambles and designed runs. The team followed through on its promise to limit his designed runs, but he still carried the ball nine times, his third-most rushing attempts of the year.
While Dart was uncharacteristically off target on multiple throws, the box score indicated he actually had one of the best passing games of his career. Dart finished the game with a career-high 243 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Dart’s day could have been even better had it not been for a few devastating drops. Darius Slayton made several uncharacteristic mistakes during the game, including his failure to haul in a potential touchdown in the second half. It would have been a tough over-the-shoulder catch, but Slayton had the ball in his hands before letting it slip.
The Giants have one more home game before Christmas, giving the Grinch-loving fan another chance to show off his fitness when New York hosts the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16.
