Devin Booker’s honest response to the Dillon Brooks-LeBron James feud

PHOENIX – Sunday game in between Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers were mainly highlighted by two people: LeBron James and Dillon Brooks.
The two were constantly kneeling during the game, as they have been for the past few years. However, Sunday’s game had a little extra heat.
for example, Brooks slammed the ball into James after a foul was called, prompting quite a response from the latter. Even that was just a microcosm of the ongoing history they have.
That’s something Devin Booker enjoyed witnessing.
“There’s history there. I mean, I like to see it,” Booker said in the locker room after the game. “People always say everything is too friendly in the NBA, and then Dillon comes along, and now it’s too much.”
“Like I said, I’d rather have it another way. It would be too much.”

Dillon Brooks and LeBron James were a movie for the Suns-Lakers
While Brooks had five fouls midway through the third quarter, he was extremely disciplined in the fourth. He didn’t foul out of the game, despite being targeted by Los Angeles.
however, Brooks was kicked out of the Suns-Lakers contest after hitting James on a 3-point shot. Some of that interaction went in Los Angeles’ favor, but it’s important not to discredit what the Phoenix forward did.
He had 18 points (including 11 in the fourth) and hit some great shots. If he hadn’t been kicked out, the game would have looked and could have been a lot different.
Hindsight is 20/20, and the Lakers retired with victory. However, this won’t be the only time these teams clash. They will face off again in the Valley of the Sun on December 23.
It might be a different outcome, but the same intensity and fire between Brooks and James will be there for all to see.
