Victor Wembanyama’s outfit draws attention ahead of the NBA Cup Finals

There will be a lot on the line when it does San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks face off for NBA Cup trophy on Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

It will be the first time they have competed for the crown since they met in the 1999 NBA Finals, which the Spurs won in five games. This time, however, serious money is at stake.

But even before they struggled on the hardwood, Spurs was a star Victor Wembanyama has already turned heads with his clothes. He arrived at the scene in hand all black ensembleincluding his bag, as if sending a message to the Nixes that it would be their funeral.

As the eminent poet Jay-Z once said, “All Black Everything. The hit song it’s from, ‘Run This Town’, also seems fitting, as Wembanyama wants to own Sin City.”

Fans had mixed opinions about the Spurs center’s unusual outfit.

“Wemby looks like the whole atmosphere. I can’t wait for him to speak on the pitch as well,” he said @veb3_theo.

“Looks like you’re ready to cook,” he added @Manniofweb3_.

“It’s a ‘Matrix’ Halloween costume we’ve never seen this year,” he joked @VinceCarterLast.

“The bag though—he’s in it tonight,” commented @QueenRuHa.

“Wemby sends his condolences to the Knicks” published @itstjfig.

The 21-year-old Vembanyama is back from a calf strain that kept him sidelined for weeks. He played in the semi-finals of the NBA Cup, helping the Spurs upset the Oklahoma City Thunder111-109, to set a date with Nix.
