Chicago recovers from an onside kick by Romeo Dubs
The Chicago Bears watched Romeo Doubs torches them for 33 yards that pushed the lead to 10. Only to later capitalize on a big mistake by Doubs – an onside kick.
Ben Johnson rolled the dice after cutting the lead to 16-9. Cairo Santos made his second big hit of the night inside Soldier Field: one that ended up in the hands of Chicago.
Doubs visibly took his eyes off the ball that the Bears recovered. But the drama escalated from there with first place in the NFC North on the line.

Caleb Williams then led off one final fourth quarter with a goal — hitting JahDae Walker in the back of the end zone to tie the game to send it to overtime.
And it became Walker’s first NFL touchdown his career as the Bears note. Williams completed an eight-play drive that swept 53 yards with 1:35 to play.
The Bears sophomore KB surpassed the 200-yard mark on that drive. He entered overtime with 204 passing on 18-of-32 passing. Green Bay even struggled to grab him for a sack – Williams’ offensive line didn’t give anything up.
But the momentum remained on Chicago’s side. Malik Willis, who replaced Jordan Love after a vicious helmet hithe ran out of the pocket for a second but was stopped by TJ Edwards. Then Willis muffed a shot in the center exchange — setting up a turnover on downs.
Williams took advantage — hitting DJ Moore on this 46-yard run to win in fashion.
