Devin Booker considers NBA referees to be the biggest problem

SCOTTSDALE – Maybe just The Phoenix Suns have a problem with NBA refereesor it can be the whole association. They had countless cases Devin Booker has questioned the last two minutes in team games.
Even head coach Jordan Ott was stunned by some of the calls. However, this is not a story of sympathy for the Suns, but a glaring problem with what is wrong with officials.
“Just consistency in the game,” Booker said when asked what consistency looks like from NBA referees after Monday’s practice. “I think one of my big problems is that I watch all the games pretty much every night and I expect to get similar calls to people who have the same usage rate as me, but that’s not the case.
“But in the game, with the officiating crew you have, I think if similar plays happen on both sides, they should be called or not called.”
Devin Booker said yes @DuaneRankin there is a ‘consistency’ problem with judging crews.
I went ahead and asked Booker what he wanted that consistency to look like.

The previous three games had some differences in referees that affected the outcome of the game. It was the last two minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers 25 reviewsone of which cost the Suns games.
And then when they played the Golden State Warriors, there weren’t as many, but a lot of calls could have been changed or not called at all.
Devin Booker and the Suns see a problem with NBA referees
As Booker alluded to, all anyone wants is consistency. They want the same on both sides. If one team is called for a blocking error, then it should be called for the other side.
Even if each team wants the refs to favor them, calling the play in the middle is key to establishing that standard.
It’s something Ott wants, but also something he he didn’t spend too much time thinking about.
“What everyone will say is there are so many things that happen in the game, so many mistakes we made. My focus is always how to get better,” Ott said after Monday’s practice.
“There are definitely things we have to clean up since the last game (against Golden State). I’ll stick with that for now.”
As long as there is no legitimate consistency with judging, this could be what the Suns and other teams across the league they will continue to march to.
