Draymond Green’s revelation from the Steve Kerr incident

Golden State The warriors were under the light this week, and it wasn’t because they were winning games. During their game against the Orlando Magic, Draymond Green and head coach Steve Kerr stepped into it, prompting the Warriors forward to rush off and go to the locker room. Green did not return to the game, but returned to the bench in his street clothes.

After the game there were many comments from Kerr, Green and other players, but the situation seems to have cleared up now. On Christmas Day, Green appeared on ESPN, where he talked about the incident between him and Kerr, and it appears that it was a big moment for him after going to the locker room.

“I didn’t want one thing to become two,” Green said. “So to get out of the way, and I thought that was the best thing to do instead of saying things that you can’t come back from tomorrow.”

“That was a huge growth moment for me.”

Green has been in the middle of many conflicts for the Warriors over the years, and one of them has gotten physical. He’s always seemed open to learning from his mistakes, and the best thing for him in this latest incident is to walk away.

After practice before the Christmas game against the Dallas Mavericks, Kerr spoke to the media and mentioned that he apologized to Green and the team, according to Nick Friedel.

“Kerr opens press conference after practice saying Monday night wasn’t my best hour. Kerr said he apologized to Draymond for his actions. Draymond apologized to him. Both apologized to the team,” Friedel wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

This looks to be something the Warriors will move past quickly, which is a good thing.
