Shams Charania reports on Stitch playing on Christmas Day

ESPN and the NBA are again this year for Dunk the Hallswhere a group of Disney players take the court to play basketball. This year they will play during Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks games, as they try to show the kids their range of skills on the floor.
There have been a few surprise appearances, and this year is a key part expected to appear for both teams, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
“Sources tell me that Stitch, the beloved blue alien from Lilo & Stitch, is not only here on Main Street as a spectator, but will also dress up and play in today’s game,” Charania said. “NBA evaluators have described Stich as a small but ruthless competitor. Both organizations are said to embrace chaos.
“Stitch is officially listed as active and is expected to come off the bench for both the Knicks and Cavs.
It will be interesting to see what Stitch ends up doing for both teams, but he could play some key minutes wherever he fits.
Outside of Dunk Halls, the Cavs and Knicks are looking for a win on Christmas Day, and it should be a good matchup between the two.
For the Cavs, they haven’t played their best this season, but there’s no doubt they’ll figure things out sooner rather than later. They were managed to bring back Evan Mobley after missing some time with a calf strain, and his presence should improve things on both sides of the ball.
As for the Knicks, they’ve played some of their best basketball so far this season, and they’re looking to keep that momentum going. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top – and whether Stitch can make a difference.
