Nikola Vucevic throws huge shade at Giannis after the dunk fight on the windmill
Nikola Vucevic shot at Giannis Antetokounmpo for his dunk on the windmill at the end of Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks game on Saturday night.
Antetokounmpo made a lot of plays near the end of regulation. While Milwaukee held a solid lead over Chicago, Antetokounmpo looks to punctuate the win with a windmill dunk. This caused confusion for the Bulls, seeing Vucevic square off against the Bucks’ star in a visible showdown.
Vucevic reflected on the events after the game, via reporter Will Gottlieb. He decided to take a direct shot at Antetokounmpo, citing a recent report that Chicago had no interest in pursuing him.
“I guess Giannis was angry at the report that came out that the Bulls didn’t want to trade for him,” Vucevic said.

As Nikola Vucevic, the Bulls played against the Bucks

Nikola Vucevic may have taken the final verbal jab from Giannis Antetokounmpo, but he and the Bulls are staring at defeat after falling to the Bucks 112-103.
Both teams were competitive throughout the game. Still, Milwaukee proved to be the better performing team, winning all four quarters against its division rivals.
Free throws and turnovers (steals and blocks) made the difference in this matchup. The Bucks won in both categories after making 19 free throws and recording 15 steals. It was not the same for the Bulls, as they made only 12 shots at the line and made seven baskets.
Six players, including Vucevic, scored double-digit goals for Chicago in the loss. He finished with a stat line of 16 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and a block. He shot 7-of-14 from the field, including 2-of-4 from beyond the arc. Kobe White followed with 16 points and two rebounds, Josh Giddy had 13 points and nine assists, Ayo Dosunma had 11 points and two rebounds, and Isaac Okoro and Zach Collins each had 10 points.
Chicago fell to a 15-16 record on the season, holding onto ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are one game ahead of the Atlanta Hawks and 2.5 games ahead of the Bucks, while trailing the Cleveland Cavaliers by one game and the Miami Heat by 1.5 games.
The Bulls will look to bounce back in their next match, staying at home. They host the Minnesota Timberwolves on December 29th at 8:00 PM ET.
