Sauce Gardner will miss Week 18 with a calf injury, ending his season
The The Indianapolis Colts have already been eliminated out of the playoffs this season, as the back half of the regular season was a tumultuous one for the franchise. There seems to be only one more game on the schedule Gardner sauce he will not play in Week 18, which means his season is effectively over.
Gardner, who is 25 years old, is turned off with a calf injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The star cornerback will not be available for the Colts when they face the Houston Texans in the season finale. Will Mallory is also ruled out with a lung problem.

Indy traded for Gardner before the trade deadline with the New York Jets as a way to improve the secondary for this season and beyond. The front office shared two first-round picks (2026 and 2027) along with wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. It was an all-in move, as the Colts acquired the best cornerback in the league to help make a playoff push.
However, it was all in vain. After quarterback Daniel Jones suffered an Achilles injury, the team was forced to sign 44-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers, who hadn’t played a snap in nearly five years.
