JJ Redick doesn’t know “what else to do” about LA’s struggling offense
After Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick called out an anonymous player for someone who doesn’t know defense, he sees a lack of focus in the midst of a heavy attack. The Lakers have dropped four of their last six games, but will look to build on a 128-121 win against the Memphis Grizzlies in Sunday’s rematch.
Redick found that there was a lack of organization in the offense performances are not performed how they should not run it at all, said ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
“I don’t know what else to do. It’s just like it’s happening so consistently right now,” Redick said. “I chalk it up to the holidays.”

LeBron James’ Luka Doncic shouts after the Lakers win

The Lakers guard Luka Doncic connected with LeBron James from half court in the first half of Friday’s win against the Grizzlies. JJ Redick watched as the two’s offense set the tone for the Lakers’ offense, leading to James calling Doncic his quarterbackafter an impressive assist, he said, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
“One of the best quarterbacks and I’m a pretty good receiver when it comes down to it,” James said. “My job is not to let the defense break it or steal the ball. And he hit it right into the goal and made it a lot easier for me.”
