LeBron James hilariously declares all streaks ‘TBD’ at age 41

LeBron James he is more earthbound than ever, which is no surprise considering he recently turned 41 on December 30 last calendar year. However, the The Los Angeles Lakers star can still produce when it matters, as he did Tuesday night to prevent the Lakers from suffering their first loss of 2026 in a 111-103 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

However, the schedule doesn’t take care of James’ physical needs now that he’s 40 years old. The Lakers will be back in action tomorrow night at 9:30 PM ET in a very important Western Conference matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. And at this point, it’s not entirely clear whether James will suit up for that contest, and the four-time MVP hilariously puts his status on the line for all future guards in doubt.

“I’m 41 years old. Every back because of the season is TBD. Got the most minutes in NBA history. The bank is now. What are we talking about? Look at my birth certificate: December 30, 1984, 4:39 p.m. That’s when I was born. When I came out, I slapped the doctor in the a**. James recorded 30 points, eight rebounds and eight assists on the night in 33 minutes of action and was a plus-10 on the night in the eight-point victory. This further proves how invaluable he is to the team, which is especially evident amid the absence of Austin Reeves due to a calf injury.

However, he was more injury prone than ever before; towards the end of last season he suffered a groin injury and had to start this season miss time due to sciatica. It’s safe to say the Lakers will err on the side of caution when it comes to James’ health.
