Bo Nix officially stamped by Peyton Manning

During an appearance on ESPN’s “This Is Football” with Kevin Clark, the Hall of Fame quarterback offered clear assessment of the young passer. Clark later shared the remarks on X (formerly known as Twitter), and Manning signaled that the former Oregon Ducks standout was the quarterback the Broncos had been pursuing since his retirement, a hot pursuit that ended with the 12th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

“I’m a Bo fan. What he did this early in his career says a lot about him. The team believes in him. He’s very honest with himself.”

For a franchise that has been going through quarterbacks for nearly a decade after the legendary quarterback’s playing career ended, his validation carries enormous weight.

And the former Denver great apostrophized the results. Clark noted Manning’s focus on wins rather than raw passes, which resonated when the Knicks faced scrutiny despite consistent production.

“He was a solid, winning quarterback.”

Those words reflect how the Broncos have reshaped their identity this season. Nix complemented a physical defense, extended drives with timely decision-making and avoided costly mistakes, even when his shot didn’t always dominate the goal.
