ESPN suggests Timberwolves-Bulls trade but doesn’t include Kobe White

Lately, there has been a lot of buzz around the NBA. The Minnesota Timberwolves they are looking to buy Kobe White from Chicago Bulls in trade. however, ESPN has another idea in the sleeve: a trade proposal that does not involve white.
According to NBA insiders, the deal would be between the Timberwolves and the Bulls. However, it includes The Three Joneses going to the Timberwolves and the Bulls Terence Shannon Jr. and Rob Dillingham.
In return, the Timberwolves would fill a need. Jones has developed into a player who can protect the ball, force turnovers and generate productivity as a middle linebacker. Meanwhile, the Bulls would get two young players to join a team that emphasizes development.
What ESPN insiders are saying about the deal
According to ESPN’s Zachary Kram, this deal would be comparable on the trade of Alex Caruso for Josh Giddy between the Bulls and the OKC Thunder.
“Think of this trade as an easy version of the Bulls’ Alex Caruso-Josh Giddy trade, sending a veteran stickman to a contender while returning high-profile young players but no draft picks. The only obstacle to getting this deal done now could be Chicago’s desire to keep Jones until Giddy returns from stress.”
Meanwhile, Bobby Marks provides in-depth analysis.
“In this deal, the Timberwolves are looking ahead,” Marks said.
“Yes, the Dillingham trade to the Spurs turned into a disaster when you consider that Minnesota traded the right to trade 2030 first-rounders and sent an unprotected 2031 first-round pick to the Spurs.
“But the Wolves desperately need a point guard to ease the load on Edwards. The three-year, $24 million contract Jones signed with Chicago in the offseason is considered one of the better deals. However, I don’t like this trade for Chicago.”
“Dillingham is only 21 years old, but his two years in summer league, the preseason and the regular season have shown that he is not a rotation player.” right now. Shannon was expected to fill the void left when Nickeil Alexander-Walker signed with Atlanta, but the forward has struggled with his shot after a strong summer league and is dealing with a left leg injury.
Currently, Jones is averaging 11.9 points, 5.1 assists and 1.1 turnovers per game. Meanwhile, Shannon is averaging 4.5 points per game and Dillingham is averaging 3.7 points and 10 minutes per game.
