Atlanta shares a hilarious post-trade injury report for Treo Young

Was it a case of muscle memory or deliberate trolling? Whatever it was, Atlanta Hawks attracted attention on Wednesday after being switched on Trae Young on the injury report ahead of their game against the Denver Nuggets.
Hawks, who trades Young to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, will visit the Nuggets at Ball Arena on Friday.
Atlanta released its injury report on X, stating that Young is “not on the team” and is against Denver.
N’Fali Dante was also on the injury report, as he is out with a torn ACL.
Fans immediately noticed the unusual move by the Hawks.
“I mean, obviously, Trae Young’s not on the team,” he said @SpursCentral.
“‘Not with the team’ is insane,” he added @isthatjavni.
“Y’all are petty for bringing up Treo after you replaced him,” wrote @Lkcid_kk.
“You make it so hard for me to love you,” published @rec_ann.

“You didn’t have to rub it on that last one,” commented @middiishappi.
“Did Trey get lost in Washington or something?” asked @KillahNet.
Someone from the Hawks has some explaining to do.
The 27-year-old Young was sent to the Wizards in exchange for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert. It was the end of an era for the Hawkswho has relied on Young since acquiring him in the 2018 draft with the Dallas Mavericks.
Young has been limited to just 10 games this season with a knee injury. The Wizards are reportedly in no rush to get the All-Star point guard back on the floor.
With Young – just to be clear – no longer with the team, the Hawks look to Jaylen Johnson, Dyson Daniels, Onyeka Okongwu and Nikhil Alexander Walker to lead the offense.
