Watch CJ McCollum, Corey Kispert come to Atlanta

The trade between the Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards is over, and the respective players have been promoted to their new teams. Wizards and Trae Young have released plenty of content throughout the day as the guard begins to settle into his new home, and the Hawks recently showed CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert down in Atlanta.
“I just landed in Atlanta, excited to be here and happy to meet the fans,” McCollum said in the video.
“We’re ready to play and win some games for you guys,” Kispert said.
Both players should be important to the Hawks’ rotation for the rest of the season, as they bring much-needed shooting and a veteran presence. For McCollum, whether he’s starting or coming off the bench, he’s a player who’s always been able to get the shot he likes at any level, especially in the draw game. He’s also a veteran in the league, and with the Hawks being one of the youngest teams, he could bring insight and knowledge.
As for Kispert, he’s still a young player, which fits the Hawks’ timeline, and he’s shooting 40% from the three-point line this season. He also wasn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor, which is another element he has in his game.
The Hawks are currently the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference, but are just a few games away from climbing the standings. It will take a lot of wins, but they have the talent in the squad to do it, and they’ve shown that all season.
They could also make some more deals before the deadline to improve their team, as it were rumors that they are interested in Anthony Davis. With his recent injury, it’s hard to see them still trying to sign him, so they may have to look elsewhere.
