Kyle Shanahan makes a revelation about playing trick TDs
The San Francisco 49ers caught the Philadelphia Eagles off guard with the former quarterback. Wide receiver Jauan Jennings connected with Christian McCaffrey on the touchdown pass. Although Kyle Shanahan had that game in the bag all along.
Because other members of the 49ers ran something similar in practice. All Jennings did was become KB1 for that trick.
Jennings fooled the entire defense into thinking he was holding a wide receiver. Except he found a streaky and wide open McCaffrey that put the 49ers ahead.
That play became a huge topic after the game after the 49ers trailed 23-19 heading into the game NFL playoffs.
Acknowledgment Kyle Shanahan made the 49ers trick

Shanahan revealed past 49er players who once had to perform the trick.
“It’s called the Ski Bang reverse pass,” Shanahan he told reporters after the victory. “The last time we called it was Deebo Bang’s reverse pass. We ran it in New Orleans when Emmanuel Sanders threw it to Raheem Mostert.”
Former 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel once became the KB option for the “Ski Bang Reverse.” But it all started with NFC champion Sanders.
The #49ers ran the “Skii Bang Reverse Pass” tonight, but this play was first called in 2019 as the “Deebo Bang Reverse Pass” with Emmanuel Sanders passing to Raheem Mostert.

Both plays turned the tide for the 49ers once they got going. And this version briefly knocked the air out of the crowd inside Lincoln Financial Field.
But newly added linebacker Eric Kendricks ended up robbing the Eagles of oxygen. Kendricks dropped into coverage and knocked down Jalen Hurts’ final pass to seal the victory. And the 33-year-old arrived in SF via the practice squad and then the active roster after Fred Warner tore his ACL.
San Francisco now heads to Seattle to face the top-seeded Seahawks in the third meeting between the NFC West playoff representatives.
