The Nuggets contained Giannis Antetokounmpo

Deprived of four carriers, incl Nikola Jokic and now Jamal Murray, the Nuggets still found the resources to beat the Bucks (108-104). Led by the ever-present Aaron Gordon, the Nuggets resisted a comeback Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Having entered the match poorly, the Bucks quickly conceded a small deficit, before responding under the leadership of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was very altruistic early in the match. But Denver kept in touch thanks to its activity on the offensive rebound and turnovers. End of streak for Rollins. The author of two small points, Ryan Rollins sees his good streak of matches with 10 or more points coming to an end. The Bucks’ leader has gone 37 consecutive games with 10 points or more. Only Giannis and Damian Lillard have done better since 2021.

Nuggets run. 11-0 in the first quarter, and 14-0 before halftime. This is how the Nuggets took over and then regained control in the 1st half. Heavily reduced, the Nuggets can be ignited in short bursts.

Four in a row. Even if that’s less true this season, it’s still hard to beat in Denver. The Bucks know a little about that since they haven’t won at the Ball Arena since 2021, losing four in a row.
