Kevin Durant is posterizing the Bulls like it’s 2014 all over again
The The Houston Rockets were rocked lately, losing three straight games, all of which have come against sub-.500 teams. This made their Tuesday night matchup against the Chicago Bulls at home all the more important. However, like most of their previous few games, this contest against the Bulls was tight, with both teams trading blows.
But in the end, it was the Rockets who came out on top, 119-113, with Kevin Durant leading with a team-high 28 points. Durant has been very reliable for Houston this season; in fact, it could be argued that they relied too much on the 37-year-old striker. But he did make a basket that swung the momentum solely in favor of the Rockets.
Down one, 104-103, with just over three minutes left in the game, Durant was able to run over Matas Bouzelis on an aggressive deep three-pointer. With the Bulls having no rim protectors on the court, the Rockets play a major role went up for an emphatic tomahawk jam to regain the lead.

After Durant’s dunk, Jabari Smith Jr. drilled a 3-pointer to give the Rockets the lead. But without this future Hall of Famer to fire up the Toyota Center crowd, Houston might end up stumbling the way they have these past few games.
Rockets get key contributions from unsung heroes to beat Bulls
