Lauri Markkanen a late addition to the injury report against the Bulls

The The Utah Jazz are coming off a big win against the Cleveland Cavaliers a few days ago, and they look to carry that momentum into their game against the Chicago Bulls. One of the big reasons for the victory was Lauri Markkanenwho finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds, making an impact whenever the ball touched his hands.
Unfortunately, there is a chance that Markkanen will miss their game against the Bulls, as it is now stated in the injury reportaccording to Sarah Todd of the Deseret News.
“Lauri Markkanen is now listed as questionable for tonight’s game in Chicago due to illness. Kevin Love is out (on rest),” Todd wrote on the Bluesky.
The Jazz have played several games without Markkanen this season, so they know he’ll be the next man up if he can’t play.
It’s been another year for the Jazz where they rely on the youth movement and develop the players in the squad, and this has seen them again near the bottom of the table. There is no doubt that they have talented players on the roster, but they are all young and still learning the ins and outs of winning.
This has led some to believe that it is Jazz could be a seller again ahead of schedule, but if they want to accelerate this winning process, they actually have to be buyers.
Markkanen was the one player that was the subject of trade rumors almost every season, but the Jazz decided to keep him. If they want to start winning sooner rather than later, the best thing to do is to keep your best player and round him up to succeed.
The Jazz seem to have something special in Keyonte George, and Ace Bailey still has time to develop into the player they expect him to be.
