Watch DeMar DeRozan pass Kevin Garnett on the all-time scoring list
The Sacramento Kings he may have another miserable campaign, but DeMar DeRozan continues to build on his impressive career.
The Kings played against the New York Knicks at the Golden 1 Center on Wednesday, and DeRozan reached another milestone after passing the NBA legend Kevin Garnett for 22nd on the all-time list.
He did it in the third quarter after burying a triple from the top of the key.

The way he’s going, he could climb further on the career scoring list. He could even crack the top 15 by the end of the season, surpassing NBA icons John Havlicek, Paul Pierce, Tim Duncan, Dominique Wilkins and Oscar Robertson.
He now has 26,077 career points and counting.
The Kings upset the Knicks 112-101, and DeRozan scored a game-high 27 points on 7-of-16 shooting. He added six rebounds and five assists.
Few imagined the 36-year-old guard would be one of the top scorers in league history when the Toronto Raptors drafted him ninth overall in 2009. But over the years, he’s developed into a lethal offensive weapon, using his athleticism and scoring efficiency.
He averaged at least 20 points in 12 straight years.
His longevity was also a big factor. He remained largely durable, adapting his game from a hard-hitting game to a more well-rounded style to extend his career.
DeRozan, however, has been the subject of trade rumorsalong with Zach LaVine and Malik Monk as the Kings look to blow up the roster and rebuild.
