Gilbert Arenas called Anthony Davis “Mr. Ouch for Injuries.”

Anthony Davis’ injury problems are well known. The former No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft is a perennial All-NBA and All-Star selection when healthy, but he’s actually a coin toss when he’s actually healthy.

The ongoing ailments have led to heavy criticism and ridicule from fans and members of the media and have led some, such as the former star player and current popular TV studio analyst Charles Barkley, to give Davis derogatory nicknames, including “Streetwear” and “From Day to Davis.” Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas is no exception as he put it his problems with Davis in ‘Gill’s Arena’.

“We watched when he hurt his — he hit his little knee, hit his elbow. There was one play where he hit his wrist three times and then grabbed it — grabbed it all three times — ‘Ow! Ooo!'” Arenas said.

“I’ve never seen a player get hurt like this from a bait in my life,” he continued. “We’ve seen Allen Iverson, haven’t we? We’ve seen him play, go down and boom, boom. We’ve seen Shaquille grab him and choke him. We’ve never seen the injuries he has from the hitting he takes.”

Arenas then gave another nickname for Davis as he compared him to New York Knicks big man Karl-Anthony Towns, though his name was a little simpler and more juvenile than many others had previously suggested.

“I gotta give KAT more credit. You’re a lot tougher, man. My fault, KAT. No disrespect, KAT. He doesn’t do that. You just look funny sometimes when you play, but I’d take that a million times over Mr. Ouchie,” Arenas said.
