Fresh flowers are given away every week, with the next batch on January 18.

Rose was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 2009. Two years later, he led Chicago to a 62-20 record and won the NBA MVP. He averaged 25 points, 7.7. assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game. That year, the Bulls reached the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the Miami Heat in five games.

In the years ahead, Rose’s talent was hampered by repeated injuries that ended his career.

Overall, Rose averaged 19.7 points, 6.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game in Chicago. In addition, he played a total of 406 games.
