Victor Wembanyama channels Britney Spears ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’ after Bucks win
After a dominant 119-101 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama played a key role in his team’s victory yesterday. The French basketball player made five three-pointers in just six attempts and scored 22 points and 10 rebounds.
After the match in a press conference, Vembanyama was asked by a reporter how he managed to shoot a three-pointer immediately after blocking the shot. To get everyone in the mood, the 22-year-old replied: “Did I do it again?”, to which the reporter replied: “You did it again.” Vembanjama had the perfect response ready for that as he replied, “Oops!”
Quick and witty answer sent everyone in the room bursting into laughter. However, not only was Vembanyama’s response amusing, but it also helped him channel his inner self Britney Spears and her 2000 cult hit “Oops!…I Did It Again.”

Despite battling an early injury scareVembanjama returned to action and finished the game with impressive points, rebounds and two blocks. These two blocks helped Vembanyama to enter the elite list. He is now the fourth-fastest player in NBA history to reach 500 or more career blocks by doing so in 143 games.
Currently in 2nd place in the Western Conference, fans were expecting a disappointing season from the Spurs after losing their first game of the season to the Thunder. However, the team recovered and won a total of 28 games.
Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo is full of praise for Spurs’ Victor Wembania

Recently, in a conversation with ClutchPoints, Giannis Antetokounmpo praised his Spurs rivalVictor Wembanyama, calling him “a much better player”.
“He’s definitely a much better player. Not just since his freshman year, since last year when we faced him he’s a lot better, in my opinion. I believe as long as he’s healthy, he’s the future of this league and the sky’s the limit.”
