The Warriors’ Draymond Green finds a way to disrespect Karl-Anthony Towns

After that The Golden State Warriors defeated the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, the star Draymond Green would go on his self-titled podcast to talk about the previous win against the New York Knicks last Thursday. Talking about the Warriors’ win over the KnicksGreene would talk about his interactions with Karl-Anthony Townsfinding ways to throw punches while showing respect.

Green would go on his show to clear the air about what looked to be another tight game against Towns when Golden State and New York faced off. He would call out Towns after the Knicks star called him a “first runner”, which leads to his retort.

“I saw a lot that was made of my interactions with KAT. I’m going to share those interactions,” Green said. “OG Anunoby and I were sitting there talking. And he came over and joined the conversation, and he told me you’re going to start talking in the last minute and a half of the game, you’re the first in the game.” One thing Karl-Anthony Towns can’t do is call me the favorite. His voice changes too much to call anyone a favorite. Because we don’t really know what KAT we’re getting.”

As The Warriors are hot with wins in five of their last six gamesgame against the Knicks was a key win that helped turn around their season, which people like Jimmy Butler pointed out was mediocre. Green would continue his relationship with Towns, introducing more to their in-game interactions and the “respect” he has for the big man.

“I just said some choice words to him. No disrespect by the way, I didn’t call him names or anything, but I just said some choice words about what I think he is on the basketball court,” Green said.

β€œMe and KAT had a little back and forth, we talked,” Green continued. “I have a lot of respect for KAT and what he’s done in the league. The basketball player he is, anyone who can produce at such a high level for 10-plus years in this league deserves respect.”

Golden State will continue to look for four straight wins as they host the Miami Heat on Monday night as they sit at 24-19, which puts them in eighth place in the Western Conference.
