Finn Balor reveals the reason he botched the OG entrance at the RAW homecoming

Issue of January 19, 2026 VVE Monday evening RAV hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, it was a homecoming of sorts Doomsday member Finn Balorwho was born in Bray, Ireland.

During his entrance, which was set to his OG theme, Balor hilariously missed his taunting moment. Social media this did not go unnoticedwith one X, ex-Twitter, the user jokes, “Uncle forgot how to do his old login.”

However, Balor spoke into the camera, explaining the confusion. It seems the reaction to his entrance was so loud that he couldn’t hear his own music to sync his movements to. “There’s no music,” he said, repeating, “I can’t even hear music.”

For the first time in years, Balor competed for the world championship during Belfast RAW. He faced CM Punk in the main event for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Unfortunately, it did not come in first place. Despite his best efforts, Punk was able to hit the GTS (Go To Sleep) late in the match which eliminated him.

Could this loss lead to a turnaround for Balor? Punk gave him flowers after the match and Balor lingered at ringside. Perhaps VVE is planting the seeds for his eventual turnaround.

If he does, it will take a long time. Balor has been a heel for the last few years in the Doomsday honor. Maybe he’ll get a redemption arc.

While Balor was unable to win the World Heavyweight Championship at RAW, he is a former Universal Champion. He became the inaugural Universal Champion after defeating Seth Rollins at the SummerSlam event in 2016. However, due to injury, he vacated the title the following night.

Since then, he has had several title matches, but has always fallen short of winning gold on the main roster. However, he won the NKST Championship twice during his career. As part of Doomsday, he won many tag team championships with the likes of Damian Priest and JD McDonagh.
