Castle Stefon delights fans with an i-1 dunk on the windmill
Stephen Castle he seems to be experiencing a sophomore slump in recent weeks, but that doesn’t mean he can’t snap out of it soon. Talented San Antonio Spurs the guard’s penchant for the highlight reel hasn’t changed even as defenses have become more stressed as his game continues to develop, and on Tuesday night, in a rivalry game against the Houston Rockets, Castle showed why he joined NBA Slam Dunk Contest in his rookie campaign.
With 8:12 left in the third quarter in a game the Spurs had led for most of its duration, Castle picked off a Kevin Durant pass intended for Amen Thompson. San Antonio quickly got the ball to Castle who leaked out after deflecting the pass, and with the sophomore sensing some daylight, he decided to go for a crazy layup even as Rockets defenseman Josh Okogie sprinted back.
Okogie simply ended up fouling Castle for one epic climax which will be played on YouTube for years to come.

At the time of this writing, Castle had a one-nighter, with 13 points, six rebounds and eight assists. The Spurs are currently holding an eight-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Castle is a fan favorite in San Antonio, and some believe he is The Spurs guard may one day be a perennial All-Star. And it’s no surprise to see fans going wild over the 21-year-old guard’s windmill jam.
