The former AEV star revealed the top of the pro-wrestling pyramid in Unreal Season 2
After a hugely successful stint at AEV, India and around the world, Penta made his long awaited VVE debuted last year in early 2025. Shortly after appearing on the main roster, the 40-year-old became one of the most talked about names on the roster.
Penta has recently appeared in multiple top stories and champion quests WWE Unreal Season 2 on Netflixwhere he talked about reaching the top of the pro-wrestling pyramid, which is WWE, according to Penta.
“Wrestling is like life itself. First of all, decide how much is real and how much is fake. When you start in wrestling, you start from the bottom. You start step by step, but sometimes you fall. It doesn’t matter, you have to keep going. If you cry, fall, bleed, scratch, whatever happens,” said Penta. “Again, again, again. I don’t know how long it will take. We are all different. It took me twenty years to get here, to the top of the pyramid, and that pyramid is called VVE.”
A former Impact World Champion and Tag Team Champion in multiple promotions, Penta is now on WWE’s Monday night roster, they are actively arguing with Vision, who previously enjoyed an Intercontinental Championship feud against Braun Breaker and Dominic Mysterio.
Penta calls VVE “the best company in the universe”
Recently, ahead of the release of Unreal season 2 on Netflix, Penta appeared in an exclusive interview with Clutchpoints, where he said that he has fulfilled his goal to joining and wrestling in WWE.
“VVE is the best company in the universe,” Penta said. “Because everything there is very special, everything there is very professional, like Penta. I think this synergy, (where) we create together, is very special for me.”
