LeBron James, Luka Doncic set up for 8-game road trip after beating Nuggets

The Los Angeles Lakers picked up one of their most complete wins of the season on Tuesday night, rally from a 16-point deficit to defeat the Denver Nuggets 115-107 in the Ball Arena. LeBron James and Luka Doncic kill the Nuggets to open up a crucial Lakers drive

Doncic had a decisive performance night, leading scorers with 38 points to go along with 13 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. He shot 12-for-21 from the floor, made 11 of 12 free throws and logged 36 minutes as the Lakers erased a deficit and took control late. The triple-double marked another example of Doncic’s growing role both as a primary scorer and as an intermediary in critical moments.

The victory also carried symbolic weight. Denver has long been a tough road test for the Lakers, especially in games played at altitude. Securing a comeback win to open a demanding trip provided a confidence boost as the schedule tightens.

The Lakers will have little time to hang on to the score. They return to Los Angeles briefly before continuing on the road Thursday night against the Los Angeles Clippers, who enter the matchup with a 19-24 record. Tipoff is set for 10:00 PM ET.
