Saturday’s game between the Hornets and the Wizards was postponed due to inclement weather



A little bad weather is expected to hit the east coast this weekend. As a result, the NBA game between the Washington Wizards, hosted by Tree Youngand the Charlotte Hornets are is moved.

Saturday game in Charlotte will be moved to noon EST instead of 6 p.m. EST, according to NBA communications. Many parts of the country are expected to be affected by sub-zero temperatures and snow storms.

Meanwhile, the Wizards are currently 10-32, while the Hornets are 16-28. In total, seven NBA games they are scheduled for Saturday. The New York Knicks will head to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers. Also, the The Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Golden State Warriors. The Cleveland Cavaliers will play against the Orlando Magic. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers will head to Dallas to take on the Mavericks. Then the Miami Heat will play the Utah Jazz.

In Chicago, the Bulls will play against the Boston Celtics what will derrick rose’s jersey retirement ceremony be.

Despite getting Treo Young, the Wizards remain winless with him. Meanwhile, the Hornets are 5-5 in their last ten games.

All in all, some leagues they change things this weekend with bad weather. It also includes the NFL Conference Championship games. The NBA does not cancel or postpone games due to bad weather because it plays indoors. However, if inclement weather would affect team travel, staff safety and/or arena operations then this would be considered.

So far, most NBA teams have played close to 40 games out of an 82-game schedule. Basically half way there.
