After Huerter talked to KC Johnson of the Chicago Sports Network about the moment and invoked Rose’s name.
“I was thinking about celebrating D Rose joining the team,” he said. He thought of Rose’s celebration afterwards hitting the winning shot in Game 3 of the 2015 Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With the win, the Bulls are now over .500 for the first time in two months at 23-22. Huerter finished the game with 12 points and six rebounds. He averaged 11.8 points per game and played a total of 40 points. Kobe White led the way with 22 points, five three-pointers and seven assists. In all, eight Chicago players scored in double figures.

Nikola Vucevic scored 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Jalen Smith scored 14 points with nine rebounds. Matas Bouzelis finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Isaac Okoro added 12 points and two rebounds.
