Cooper Flagg is questionable against the Bucks with Dallas stuck at the airport

The Dallas Mavericks are scheduled to take on the Milwaukee Bucks in Milwaukee with tip-off at 7:00 PM EST. A few hours before the game, the reports show that Cooper Flagg may not play due to injury, while the club remains stuck at the Dallas airport.
At approximately 1:13 PM EST, it was announced that the Mavericks were still sitting in their team plane in Dallas, according to NBA insider Mark Stein. The club’s flight appears to have been delayed due to bad weather across the country.
“The Mavericks, meanwhile, remain on their team plane and are still awaiting takeoff … less than six hours away from their scheduled 6:00 PM CT tip-off in Milwaukee tonight.”
About eight minutes after that report, Stein stated that the Mavericks listed Cooper Flagg as questionable. The 19-year-old striker could opt out of Sunday’s competition due to management of left ankle injuries.
“Dallas listed Cooper Flagg (nursing a left ankle injury) as questionable for tonight’s game.”
It is rare for any player in any sport to be active when they are convicted of suspicion. Technically speaking, though, there’s still a chance the former No. 1 overall pick could play on Sunday. Despite dealing with a minor ankle injury, Cooper Flagg has been durable throughout his rookie year thus far.
He played in 43 of 46 available games, averaging 18.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals per contest. Flagg also owns a 47.3% field goal percentage while shooting 28.0% from the three-point line.
As for the Mavericks, they still have time to get to Milwaukee and play the Bucks. The winter storm has already hit America performed at the game on Sundayas the Denver Nuggets-Memphis Grizzlies contest has been postponed.
