Sixers ready to transfer Andre Drummond
With return in mind Joel Embiid, Andre Drummond must settle for crumbs among Sixersespecially sinceAdem Bona is the first rotation at the pivot position.
“The only thing that will change is that I probably won’t take off my warm-up pants for some matches” the former Pistons assured recently. “I don’t take things personally. I want to see everyone succeed. I have to continue to be a good teammate and be ready when called upon.”
In fact, the former All-Star is playing less and less, and his “DNPs” have been multiplying lately, and the Philadelphia Inquirer assures that the Sixers are therefore willing to trade him.
That’s because with his $5 million contract expiring, his rebounding qualities and experience, Andre Drummond remains an interesting profile for an ambitious team looking for perimeter reinforcements. THE Nix could besides being interestedeven if it will be necessary to maneuver in order to succeed in the recovery of the 32-year-old player.
However, given Joel Embiid’s fragility and his meticulous management of Philly, especially during back-to-back games, keeping Andre Drummond as insurance remains a viable option for the Sixers.
However, according to information from the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eric Gordon (who doesn’t play at all anymore…) could also be moved, even if he has a real mentoring role for the young VJ Edgecombe.
