Luka Dončić’s real feelings about teaming up with Nikola Jokić

The highly anticipated NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles next month will feature a new format and the league’s biggest names, including Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Dončić and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.
They were a constant part of the mid-season spectacle, and Dončić and Jokić enjoyed together as good friendsincluding teasing each other.
With the NBA introducing a format in which the world team competes against two USA teams, Doncic and Jokic will once again be teammates, and the Lakers star is already looking forward to it.
“Unbelievable, yes. I think everyone knows what a friend Nikola is. It’s great. We’ll be in LA, so we’ll probably spend time together off the field,” Doncic said, a fan page reported.
Reporter: What do you think about the fact that you and Nikola started together in the All Star game?

Doncic and Jokic played for LeBron’s team in 2023 and were selected as Western Conference starters in 2024.
Jokic, however, may not suit up this year as he is still recovering from a knee injury. The three-time MVP was initially diagnosed with being out for four weeks, but it looks like he will miss more time. He has missed the Nuggets’ last 15 games.
Doncic was not selected for the NBA All-Star game last season because he missed part of the campaign due to a calf injury.
If Jokić doesn’t play, Doncic still has plenty of options to pass the ball on the World team, including Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama, among others.
