Even Joel Embiid was in shock after the smooth transition dunk

Joel Embiid returned to the lineup on Tuesday as The Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Milwaukee Bucks at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Embiid was at the front of their back-to-back set on Monday as the 76ers routed the Charlotte Hornets, 130-93, at the Spectrum Center.

Embiid, fully rested, wasted no time imposing his will against the Bucks. He even showed in the second quarter that he can still run the floor and go up.

After a defensive stop, the 76ers ran the other end. Tyrese Makey found Embiid rushing in the middle of the lane and threw him a lob for a dunk.

Embiid smiled as he ran back to the defense, raising his arms in pleasant disbelief.

With his long history of various injuries, it’s good to see the 31-year-old Embiid plays with a lot of energy and is having fun on the floor. The NBA is better when he’s healthy.

Fans called out the former MVP for always being on the sidelines, and some even accused him of leaving the Sixers. Embiid, however, has shown that he is a fierce competitor and could battle it out on the court. He also remained loyal to the 76ers despite their early playoff exit.

As of this writing, the Sixers hold a slim lead against the Bucks in the third quarter. Embiid has 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

Philly has struggled recently going 4-6 in their last 10 games.
