Bogdan Bogdanović will most likely be transferred via trade
The The Los Angeles Clippers have started to pick it up in recent weeks, crawling toward the .500 mark in 2025-26. While Los Angeles stumbled out of the gate, their recent hot streak has put some assumptions on previous speculation that they could look to trade star players like James Harden or Kawhi Leonard is off the table now.
However, that doesn’t mean they won’t look to be active on the trade market, and recently NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints broke down one name who could it be on the move next week.
“Lately, Bogdan Bogdanovic has emerged as the player most likely to be moved if the Clippers move at the trade deadline,” Siegel reported, via Clutch Scoops, according to ClutchPoints on X, formerly Twitter.
The Clippers acquired Bogdanovic last year before the deadline from the Atlanta Hawks, looking to add some shooting and scoring off their bench. While Bogdanovic has had some moments in a Clippers uniform, he hasn’t provided the production the team was hoping for and has also dealt with various injuries as he continues to show signs of aging.
However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t another team that might be willing to take advantage of his elite outside shooting ability and veteran ability to play off the dribble, even as his defense and athleticism continue to decline.
Right now, the Clippers overall need more depth at basically every position as their bench has underperformed this year, so it will be interesting to see how they fare at the upcoming trade deadline, which is set for February 5th.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles will next take the floor Friday night at home for a big test against the Denver Nuggets.
