Kobe White refuses to say Chicago needs to add talent at the trade deadline as rumors swirl



The Chicago Bulls fought tooth and nail against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. However, that was Aaron Nesmith’s heroics it led the Pacers to a comeback victory, 113-110.

As a result, the Bulls are now 23-24. after the game Coby White was asked about NBA trade deadline soon, on February 5. Basically, when the topic of whether the Bulls need to make some drastic changes and add talent comes up, White decided not to answeraccording to Joe Covelli of the Chicago Sun-Times.

“You’re never going to make me say no,” White said Wednesday.

Overall, White said things are looking pretty good for the Bulls despite all the rumors.

“Obviously, we’ve proven that. We’ve beaten some really good teams this year. We’ve just got to keep realizing it, make that push. We’re still in the hunt. I think we’re two or three games out of six, so we’re still in the hunt. We’ve just got to keep competing. Like I said, we love playing with these guys and I love being here. It’s at stake, and sometimes things don’t go our way and sometimes they do.”

Sam Beli was the target of trade rumours. Teams such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly expressed interest.

White scored 14 points and had four assists against Indiana. He is averaging 18.8 points and 4.7 assists per game. He also plays under an expiring contract along with Ayo Dosunmu, Nikola Vucevic, Kevin Huerter, Dalen Terry, Jevon Carter and Zach Collins.

The Bulls will host the Miami Heat on Thursday in the makeup game.
