The Toronto Raptors‘ losing streak hit two games after their 130-120 loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday. With the loss, the Raptors fell to 29-21 and slipped behind the Cleveland Cavaliers into 5th place in the Eastern Conference standings. But earlier in the game, the Raptors play Scottie Barnes had one of the highlights game after throwing a full pass to Ja’Kobe Walter who reversed the layup.

The play came just before the halftime buzzer when Scottie Barnes deflected a missed Magic shot, immediately saw Ja’Kobe Walter tearing down the court, and fired a long pass that found its target. Walter picked up the ball and entered as the clock struck zero.
Despite the loss, the Raptors were one of the best teams in the East this season. They are in the mix for home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. It would be the first time the Raptors have made the postseason in four years. If the Raptors end up with the top seed in the East, there will be a big reason why Barnes’ play.

Against the Magic, he finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four blocks in 36 minutes. He shot 7 of 14 (50 percent) from the field and 5 of 7 from the free throw line.
Entering Friday’s game, Barnes had appeared in 48 games this season with just over 34 minutes per game. He averaged 19.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks while shooting 49.9 percent from the field, 31.1 percent from the 3-point line and 82.9 percent from the free throw line.
