LeBron James’ longevity highlighted by insane Wizards stats

Amidst the Lakers’ win streak, one of the game’s main storylines has been longevity LeBron James that was it prominently insane statistics presented by the Monumental Sport team during the game.
Most members of the Wizards weren’t even born when LeBron James first came to the NBA, underscoring the Lakers star’s insane longevity. James’ rookie season was 2003-04, and he won the league’s Rookie of the Year award. His debut in the NBA was on October 29, 2003.
Of the 10 players who played for the Wizards, five were not yet born when James made his NBA debut. They were Alex Sarr, Will Riley, Bub Carrington, Keeshon George and Bilal Coulibaly. The five players who were born when James made his debut were Anthony Gill, Shariffe Cooper, Jameer Watkins, Malachi Branham and Justin Champagne.
James is in the midst of an unprecedented 23rd season in the NBA. No other player has reached that number of years playing in the league. At 41, he is currently the oldest player in the NBA. It was constant speculation about how much longer James will playbut James himself did not give any specific answer about what his future plans this past season might entail.
Last offseason, James opted out of his contract, the final year of his contract. He will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
Entering Friday’s game, James had appeared in 29 games, averaging just over 33 minutes per game. He averaged 22.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.1 steals on 50.2 percent shooting from the field, 32.1 percent from the 3-point line and 74.8 percent from the free throw line.
