Boxer Jarrell Miller throws his haircut into the crowd during his fight against Kingsley Ibeh

Saturday night’s Ringo 6 main event between Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson did not disappoint. Stevenson remains undefeated after dominating Lopez to win the junior light heavyweight title by unanimous decision. But Jarrell Miller stole the show in his undercard bout with Kingsley Ibeh earlier in the night.
The always funny Miller left boxing fans stunned when his toupee became an impromptu souvenir for fans at Madison Square Garden. In the 2nd round, the evil right Ajbeh unhooked the toupee, revealing himself to be Miller he clearly wore hair piece, according to Ariel Helwani. The 37-year-old heavyweight leaned into the moment, tore off his toupee and tossed it into the crowd like some sort of bald guy bouquet.
Heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley was the lucky(?) guest to grab Miller’s hair. And him put in the empty place next to him at ringside, giving the toupee a great view of Miller’s split decision victory.

As weird as the mid-match moment was, Miller’s post-fight interview was even wilder. The veteran boxer explained his unfortunate foray into toupees by describing a very bonding situation which caused his unfortunate baldness.
“I got to my mom’s house and she had bottles of shampoo on the table. And I washed my (hair), but the shit was like ammonia bleach. I literally lost my hair two days ago,” Miller told DAZN Boxing.
Panicked by his sudden baldness, Miller says he called his manager, who apparently convinced him to wear a vest during a professional boxing match. In the end, “Ibeh knocked that shit down,” Miller admitted with a laugh.
“I feel like right now, I just want to recover, heal my face for a little bit. Maybe I can grow some hair on the top of my head, I don’t know,” Miller added. “You can’t take life too seriously sometimes, man. You gotta keep hitting and have fun.”
Miller improved to 27-1-2 with a split decision win over Ibeh. His only career loss came via Dominant victory of Daniel Dubois by technical knockout in December 2023. After Miller’s Saturday night hair rowing experience, he vowed to “Get back in the gym and get back to work.”
