Transferred to the 11th franchise, Dennis Schroeder is no longer far from the record
Strange career than that Dennis Schroder. Brilliant and valuable in FIBA basketball, the playmaker was never able to establish himself during his time with an NBA franchise.
While he was a great 6th man, with the Hawks and then with the Thunder, the German pushed to get a permanent role and if we can understand it, he seems to have been played with. Since he was never untouchable, his “average” contracts often served as an adjustment variable…as they continue to be.
Dennis Schroeder just took over the management of the Cavaliers, along with Keon Ellis, in exchange for De’Andre Hunter. However, he committed to $45 million for three with Sacramento last summer.
Ish Smith, record holder
But once again he failed to impose himself, very quickly he lost the starting place in California.
With the Cavaliers, he will therefore open the 11th franchise in the NBA, after the Hawks, Thunder, Lakers (k2), Celtics, Rockets, Raptors, Nets, Warriors, Pistons and therefore the Kings.
However, the record is for Ish Smith, who played for 13 different franchises. behind, Chucky Brown, Jim Jackson, Tony Massenburg, Joe Smith etc Garrett Temple knew 12 clubs in the NBA.
With 11 franchises, Dennis Schroeder joins Kevin Ollie, Mike James, Jeff Green, DJ Augustin or even Anthony Tolliver and thus he is only one transfer away from entering the Top 6 “cafes” in the NBA, even if it is undoubtedly not the rank where he would like to appear…
