What the Hawks’ Anthony Davis trade offer currently looks like

With NBA trade deadline just a few days away, Atlanta Hawks‘ supposedly there are still some in search of the big man interested in Dallas Mavericks center Anthony Davisaccording to ClutchPoints’ NBA insider Brett Siegel. Although Davis is currently sidelined with a hand injury, the Hawks still retain some level of trade interest.

Anthony Davis’ hand injury, with his expected return deadline nearing the end of February, didn’t completely dissuade the Hawks from shopping the Mavericks at the deadline, it just reduced their offer. The current package the Hawks are believed to have on the table for Davis is Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kennard and their mid-draft first-round pick.

U its limited availability For the Mavericks this season, Davis averaged 20.4 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.7 blocks on 50.6 percent shooting from the field, 27 percent from the 3-point line and 72.8 percent from the free throw line.

The The Hawks made a minor trade over the weekend, sending Whit Krejci, who was on a team contract, to the Portland Trail Blazers for Duop Reath and two second-round picks.

The team’s desire for a big man at the deadline stems from a disappointing season from Porzingis. He has been limited to just 17 games for the Hawks due to injury and illness. He averaged 17.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 blocks, shooting 45.7 percent from the field, 36 percent from the 3-point line and 84 percent from the free throw line.

If the Hawks are concerned about Davis’ health, it’s possible they could turn to the Mavericks’ other big man in Daniel Gafford. Gafford has reportedly been on the trade block, and with the Mavericks reportedly looking to move Klay Thompson’s contract, both could be options for the Hawks.
