NOrman Powell’s status against the Hawks

Given his question mark on injury reportthere is currently a doubt as to whether norman powell will be able to face the hawks on tuesday night. Powell last played last week on the road against the Chicago Bulls, and missed the Heat’s next two games, also against Chicago, in which the teams split a set.

Powell was recently named an All-Star Reserve for his efforts in 2025-26, and he’s sure to get a big hand from the Miami crowd whenever he plays at home again.

Joining Powell on the injury report is Tyler Hero, who will be sidelined with a rib injury, while Nikola Jovic is listed as doubtful.

For the Hawks, Kristaps Porzingis is questionable after missing weeks with an Achilles injury, while Onieka Okongwu is out with a fractured tooth.

Overall, the Heat have been up and down this season, and would be back in territory if the season ended today, as would the Hawks, which is becoming a familiar spot for both teams over the last few years.

Last year, the Heat ended the Hawks’ season with a road tournament win, but both teams would like to get off that merry-go-round if possible during the 2025-26 season.

Either way, tip-off between the Hawks and Heat is set for Tuesday night at 7:30pm ET from South Beach.
