Bulls, Timberwolves, Pistons agree to 3-team trade that includes Jaden Ivey

The The NBA trade deadline has been set for Thursday afternoon, and things have heated up so far this week. On Tuesday, it continued with an agreement with three teams that presented by the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolvesand Detroit Pistons.
“Just in: Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit have agreed to a multi-team deal that sends Poor Ivey and Mike Conley Younger Bulls and Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric To the Pistons, sources told ESPN. Detroit also gets a protected first-round pick from Minnesota in 2026,” NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN reported. on X, formerly Twitter.
With this move, the Pistons officially ended the Jaden Ivey experiment that began when he was a lottery pick a few years ago. Ivey has not lived up to expectations this season after his devastating injury last year, and will now get a fresh start on a Bulls team with a much younger roster.
Meanwhile, the Pistons will add some much-needed perimeter shooting in the form of Huerter, and a veteran presence in Saric.
For the Timberwolves, the move appears to set the stage for a potential deal to come in the next two days. Conley lost his starting job with the Timberwolves to Donte DiVincenzo this year, and now fans are buzzing that this latest deal could pave the way for a potential trade for Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant, or even disgruntled Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Either way, the NBA trade deadline is set for Thursday afternoon.
