Injured, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will return after the All-Star Game…

What if the MVP race was restarted? indeed, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander suffers from a muscle damage in the stomach area and we won’t see him on the field again for at least two weeks.
In other words, “SGA” won’t play again between now and the All-Star break, and since he’ll already miss five games in that span, this will bring his number of missed games this season to seven. Then he will have ten additional “jokers”, in case his unavailability does not exceed two weeks.
Either way, it’s a heavy blow for Thundermuch less sovereign for almost two months and currently bereft of Jaylen Williams. At best, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be back on February 20th, and that also means the NBA will have to find a replacement for him for the All-Star Game.
Canadian, who just had extend at the last moment his streak of games with at least 20 points, in particular, will be replaced by Jared McCain, new recruit current champions. They also include Cason Wallace, Ajay Mitchell and Alex Caruso.
