Will the Bulls use their 2nd round stockpiles to trade for another player?

The The Chicago Bulls have been quite active at the NBA trade deadline so far, a trend that continued Thursday with the team trade vong To the Minnesota Timberwolves for a package centered on Rob Dillingham and draft compensation. The move was preceded by the trades of Nikola Vucevic to the Boston Celtics and Kevin Huerter to the Detroit Pistons earlier this week.
One common theme throughout all of these moves is that the Bulls were returning significant second-round draft assets for future years.
“The Bulls added 9 second-round picks last week, for a total of 14,” NBA insider Bobby Marks of ESPN reported on X, formerly Twitter.
With that being the case, many are wondering if the Chicago Cubs could be stockpiling these picks in an attempt to land another player before the deadline.
One name that Tauruses have was largely associated with In recent weeks it has been New Orleans Pelicans big man Yves Missy.
“The New Orleans Pelicans held a firm asking price for a first-round pick for the recent All-Rookie, but no team was willing to meet that price,” NBA insider Brett Siegel reported recently.
However, Chicago could hope that their collection of second-round picks will be enough to force the Pelicans to back away from that stance.
The Bulls currently have a gaping hole at center following the Vucevic trade, and while they moved Dosunmu, Dillingham’s arrival means there’s still a huge backcourt crowd on the roster that fans will likely want to weed out before Thursday’s deadline.
Anyway, the NBA trade deadline is set for Thursday at 3:00 PM ET. The Bulls will next take the floor on Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors.
