I’m absolutely angry because what you’re seeing is the hypocrisy that’s going on with some of these writers and so forth,” Smith said. “People are angry about certain things, whether he wanted to talk to you or not, whether he gave you the right answer. Everyone who voted, and here’s the problem, I don’t like people voting and their votes not being revealed, who did it and why.”
“Because I think you journalists have a right to ask, why did you vote the way you did? … You’re diluting something that’s very special,” Smith continued.
“I’m angry. … I don’t even know why I’m in it.”

Emmitt Smith continues to disparage Hall of Famer Bill Belichick
With New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft joined Belichick as a Hall of Fame snub, the two were part of a combined six Super Bowls, making their resumes strong. Stephen A. Smith would argue that it sets the stage for Tom Bradyconsidered by many to be the greatest quarterback of all time, would also be dismissed as a first-ballot candidate, prompting Smith to question why he’s in the Hall of Fame.
