Daniss Jenkins beats buzzer beater in 1st quarter with unreal 3-pointer
Dennis Jenkins made a shot in Detroit Pistons match against New York Knicks on Friday night.
Jenkins is halfway through the second season of his NBA career with the Pistons. He had the role of a key guy off the bench, making solid contributions on both sides of the ball.
Jenkins showed his qualities with a great shot at the end of the first quarter. He had the ball with less than four seconds left in the period fired a three-pointer over Jordan Clarkson, splashing him in convincing fashion.

According to Danis Jenkins, the Pistons played the 1st half against the Knicks

It was an impressive highlight for Danis Jenkins who added to his collection, helping the Pistons boast a commanding 63-42 lead over the Knicks at halftime.
Detroit got off to a strong start on both sides of the ball, taking a 28-17 lead after the first quarter. Although New York recovered on the offensive side of the ball, the hosts responded with a better result in the second period.
The perimeter shooting, rebounding and possessions (steals and blocks) have made a huge difference throughout the game so far. The Pistons lead in all three categories after making 10 3-pointers, grabbing 24 rebounds and recording nine steals. It wasn’t the same for the Knicks after they made five 3-pointers, grabbed 18 rebounds and made three turnovers.
Two players have scored in double figures for Detroit so far, including Jenkins. He had 11 points, three rebounds and two assists on 4-of-7 shooting from the field. Cade Cunningham followed with 11 points and four rebounds, Isaiah Stewart had eight points and two rebounds, while Javonte Green had eight points and two steals.
After the match against the Knicks, the Pistons will prepare for their next contest. They hit the road when they face the red-hot Charlotte Hornets on February 9th at 7pm ET.
