Victor Vembanyama thanks his leaders
Second in the Western Conference, Spurs he ended up not moving on “trade deadline” night. The rumors were not very loud and focused on Jeremy Sochan.
The Polish international is still in San Antonio, and Victor Vembanyama was satisfied with the inaction of his leaders. Only the Rockets and Heat imitated the Spurs, without changing the composition.
“If there’s a message, it’s to have confidence in who we are”, Wemby responded. “What I like is that the front office believes in these guys as much as I do. We’re on the same wavelength.”
The All-Star pivot isn’t the only one happy with the management’s choice. “It’s a good feeling to be united and keep the same team we started the season with until the end” explains Stephon Castle. Same story with Harrison Barnes, who had the profile of a negotiator.
“We’re winning games and we don’t feel like we have to make a lot of moves. recalls the former Kings and Warriors winger. “We are happy to continue to build with this group.”
